TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner role to work one of the largest bulk shipping terminal company in Canada. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who are looking to grow their skills and gain experience working in a large, unionized corporation.
This is a one-year full-time temporary position and will be working in the Greater Vancouver area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all planning processes, elements, and working functions are satisfied as per company’s standard
• Coordinate daily and weekly planning meetings as per requested and related to planning maintenance and review
• Participate and develop plans to improve scheduling, planning, and data management to improve planning efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop time and cost estimated related to the maintenance work
• Prepare maintenance reports, and analyze data to solve planning maintenance related problems
• Update, complete, and review work orders on daily basis and update necessary data files such as PRTs, BOMs, etc.
• Perform gap analysis when required
• Scan completed and updated work orders in JDE CMMS, as well as ensure accuracy of equipment maintenance history
Key Requirements:
• Working knowledge of Pronto, JD Edwards Software
• Previous experience working in unionized environment
• Excellent communication and written English skills
• Heavy Duty Red Seal Trade Qualification
• Strong compliance to safe work practices and procedures
• Combined experience as Planner and heavy-duty red seal trades
• Demonstrated strong report writing and computer skills
