Location: Anderson, SC
Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire
Pay: $27-29/hr
Hours: 7am – 3:45pm with 1.5x for OT
Objective:
We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician who will carry out repair and maintenance activities minimizing production downtime.
Responsibilities
•We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician who will carry out repair and maintenance activities minimizing production downtime
•Carry out electrical and/or mechanical repairs and inspections as required to ensure equipment runs reliably in production
•Install new machinery, overhaul equipment, and rebuild and fabricate parts as required
•Consistently maintain company safety and cleanliness standards in the production environment
•Assist maintenance personnel with plant maintenance as needed
•Liaise with outside contractors as necessary
•Training, instruction, and supervision of apprentices including carrying out reviews of Apprentice performance, ensuring that Apprentices get experience in all aspects of their trade
•As assigned by the supervisor or manager, must be licensed and certified to drive a forklift
Qualifications and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with CNC machines, Mills, Lathes, Welding, etc.
• Strong teamwork electro-mechanical skills.
• Strong communication skills
**Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer, regardless of authorization or visa transfer
**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check to be eligible for hire
