Manager, Wind Institute

Our client is seeking a Manager of their Wind Institute department to join their team in New Jersey.

New Jersey has established an aggressive target of generating 11 gigawatts (GW) of offshore wind by 2040 as part of the State’s plan to achieve 100% clean energy by 2035. To help reach these goals, New Jersey is launching the New Jersey Wind Institute for Innovation and Training (Wind Institute) to coordinate and galvanize cross-organizational workforce, research, and innovation efforts to support New Jersey as a leader in offshore wind. The Wind Institute will 1) accelerate the development of a robust and diverse offshore wind workforce act and 2) champion research and innovation that unlocks market potential.

The Manager will serve as a senior leader for the Wind Institute. The Manager will lead and drive the development of a suite of offshore wind workforce training, education, research and innovation programs and supervise project officers, including having responsibilities for the career development of direct reports. The Manager will report to the Vice President, Offshore Wind.
