Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

TRS is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for our client’s team of experienced automotive manufacturing professionals in Anderson, SC!

Responsibilities Include:
• Ensure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, air guns, solvents, cloths, vacuum or other appliances
• Creating and tracking maintenance related equipment downtime
• Coordinate all external facility repairs and installations
• Examine or carry out task on broken machine parts and identify defective parts; give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirements.
• Take off hardened material from machines or machine parts by utilizing power and hand tools, jack, sledge hammer, and other hand-held tools
• Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using cranes, hoists, chain falls, hand tools, and jacks
• Application of adhesives, lubricants, or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment in accordance with stated procedures
• Provide and analyze weekly / monthly KPI to the Plant Manager
• Tracking and update the Maintenance system within IBM AS400
• Maintain required spare parts stock to repair molds and other equipment.
• Work with Production Planning to create and plan / forecast PM schedules.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
• Maintain the central material system and replace broken parts on the entire system

Requirements Include
• Associates or bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in a technical discipline or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience within an Injection Molding facility, preferred
• Understanding of raw materials, tooling, assembly operations and quality control
• Effectively work with MS Office, computers and other communication devices
