About the role

TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Materials Manager to join our esteemed clients team based in Adelaide. This position is based on a Monday to Friday full-time roster. 

Duties and responsibilities

• Lead and oversee field material management activities to support project delivery.

• Develop and implement material management procedures, plans, and schedules.

• Establish and maintain warehouse storage systems based on material requirements and volumes.

• Train and support warehouse personnel on processes, procedures, and equipment use.

• Coordinate material shortages, damages, overages, and related procurement issues.

• Work closely with construction and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when required.

• Monitor performance, resolve operational issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide regular reports and status updates.

Skills and experience required

• Previous experience in materials management, warehousing, or logistics within an EPC or EPCM project environment.

• Strong understanding of inventory control, material tracking, and warehouse operations.

• Ability to develop, implement, and improve processes and procedures.

• Experience leading, training, and supporting warehouse or logistics teams.

• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.

• Effective communication and reporting skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.
