About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Materials Manager to join our esteemed clients team based in Adelaide. This position is based on a Monday to Friday full-time roster.
Duties and responsibilities

Lead and oversee field material management activities to support project delivery.

Develop and implement material management procedures, plans, and schedules.

Establish and maintain warehouse storage systems based on material requirements and volumes.

Train and support warehouse personnel on processes, procedures, and equipment use.

Coordinate material shortages, damages, overages, and related procurement issues.

Work closely with construction and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when required.

Monitor performance, resolve operational issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide regular reports and status updates.
Skills and experience required
-
Previous experience in materials management, warehousing, or logistics within an EPC or EPCM project environment.

Strong understanding of inventory control, material tracking, and warehouse operations.

Ability to develop, implement, and improve processes and procedures.

Experience leading, training, and supporting warehouse or logistics teams.

Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.

Effective communication and reporting skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.
