Job Summary:
Responsible for review of procurement files in accordance with Procurement procedures, contract requirements and federal acquisition regulations.
Job Duties:
- Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment. Review of procurement files for accuracy compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
- Provides feedback to Procurement Buyer if file is not complete, assign date response due back and track response time. Validate the buyer has corrected the file and the file is ready to be closed.
- Adheres to Procurement procedures to assure follow-up and administration of purchase order files for closure
- Prepare for final format and transmit to DDM for retention in accordance with policy and procedures. .
- Assists in the preparation of Procurement centered reports.
- Maintains procurement records in accordance with procedures.
- Supports the goals and objectives of the company as a part of a work group or team member.
- Responsible for compliance of procurement procedures in maintaining an approved Purchasing system.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Applications
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Additional knowledge/skills may be required by assignment
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in associated discipline is preferred. Four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Two (2) year of business experience with at least 1 year in a Buyer/Procurement role.
- Government procurement experience is highly desirable.
- Additional experience/education may be required by assignment.
