Materials Manager, Manufacturing

The Opportunity Our client, an industry leader in the custom build & design industry is looking for a Materials Manager to join their team. Responsibilities • Day to day supervision and management of personnel; training, mentoring and performance evaluations. • Continuous improvement of inventory, processes and identifying gaps providing corrective solutions • Oversee and participate in strategic initiatives; review and improve all processes • Collaborate with other departments to identify and develop improvements and efficiencies; quality department and ISO 9001 standards • Regular documentation and reporting of KPI reporting and structure • Ability to motivate and mentor staff, develop effective working relationships and the ability to foster a safe work environment Qualifications • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred • SCMP, CPP, PMAC or equivalent is an asset • Experience in a manufacturing environment • Project management understanding We thank all applicants for their interest; however only those who work in Canada will be considered for this position and only those selected for interviews will be contacted.
