Mechanical/Piping Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical/ Piping Engineer to join an exciting pharmaceutical project in Denmark. The position is a contract role, 5 days a week on site in Kalundborg, Denmark.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage teams of Piping and Mechanical technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Oversee all aspects of piping and mechanical construction, including installation, fabrication, testing, and commissioning.
- Interpret and execute complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Identify and proactively resolve technical issues and ensure timely correction.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments including engineers, surveyors, and project managers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction personnel and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. (preferred not essential)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in piping engineering within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
