Mechanical Supervisor - ASR

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor in the greater New Orleans area for a 6-12 month contract with a possibility for extension and/or conversion.

The role is responsible for coordinating maintenance and operations support across small to mid-sized service contracts, capital projects, or less complex facilities. The supervisor oversees entry-level technicians and/or other maintenance leads, ensuring consistent execution of tasks, strong client engagement, and alignment with operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing communication with site leadership to understand operational needs
• Conduct periodic reviews with plant management to strengthen collaboration and gather performance feedback
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiency
• Ensure team responsibilities are clearly defined and aligned with service expectations
• Monitor adherence to internal procedures and client-specific requirements
• Regularly assess site-level risks and identify areas of concern
• Support financial accountability by tracking performance metrics and resource use
• Contribute to budget planning and cost control efforts
• Evaluate client operations to identify future needs and potential service enhancements
• Assist in developing proposals and project plans that align with client goals
• Participate in business development activities, including presentations and estimates
• Apply analytical methods to assess current workflows and recommend improvements
• Support transformation initiatives to optimize site performance
• Provide periodic reporting on utilization, budget status, and team performance
• Contribute to site-level planning and strategic alignment

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of related experience
• OR a combination of education and experience totaling 10+ years if non-degreed
• Strong technical background in mechanical maintenance operations
• Effective communicator across all levels—internal teams, clients, and external partners
