Job Description
We are hiring for a Millwright Supervisor and responsibilities include
Reviews and submits time to payroll for assigned team and will communicate changes with an employee or Human Resources as needed
Ensures that assigned team stays current in required certifications and documents appropriate on the job training
Develops the daily work schedule for all employees on the assigned job site based on information provided by the site supervisor
Ensure all materials, supplies, tools, and equipment are on the job site in a timely manner to support the schedule
Review job specifications, schedules, material, equipment & supply requirements, purchase requisitions, etc., as necessary
Document the receipt of all job-related expenses, including overtime hours worked on your Daily Job Reports
Identify safety problems on the job site, and institute corrective actions to eliminate any safety problems. Stop work when a problem cannot be resolved without risk of injury
Be knowledgeable and follow job site safety and evacuation rules
Monitor the performance of the sub-contractor, implement corrective action if performance is below standards and report problems to Dispatch immediately
Accidents, injuries and near misses must be reported to the Safety Manager immediately
Complete project per approved plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedule as provided by Operations/Project Manager
Immediately report to Operations any equipment problems discovered
Maintain all job records and documents, return upon completion of the project or as required (such as work orders, job safety analysis, equipment inspections, terms and conditions, bill of ladings, receipts, expense reports, timesheets, etc.)
Maintain daily records of all significant job activities and documentation of any circumstances that may have future importance relative to change orders, back charges, hours worked equipment, safety, or quality problems
Identify any changes in conditions that will require a change in the scope of the work, and notify Operations/Project Manager
Review job status and schedule on a regular basis with Operations
OSHA 30 required
