We are currently seeking Trade Qualified Electricians & Fitters to work on site to undertake the operation and maintenance of a Mobile Flash-Butt Welder (E.O. Paton).

The project is located in the Pilbara in Western Australia and is FIFO from Perth two weeks on, two weeks off roster. Previous experience working on rail is beneficial and successful candidates will be required to start ASAP. There is a possibility of permanent Fluor employment after an initial three month period for candidates who meet and/or exceed the requirements of the position.

Job Description

Trade qualification with a minimum of 2 years post Apprenticeship preferred,
Ability to diagnose and rectify faults,
An understanding of quality control and assurances on a Mobile Flash-Butt Welder,
Previous experience working in a Railway environment would be advantageous,
Experience with operation/maintenance of mobile Flash-Butt Welders is highly desirable,
Ability to work in a small team,
Self-motivated to achieve exceptional results.
Job Requirements

Unrestricted Drivers Licence (essential),
High Risk Work Licence is desirable (LF, C2, DG, etc.),
Australian recognised qualifications,
Maintenance and repair of Electrical equipment,
Hold a current White/Blue Card.
Applicants must:

Demonstrated safety awareness and practice,
Be able to satisfy the requirements of a CAT 1 Rail Safety medical,
Be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol on-site testing,
Be physically able to undertake manual tasks in a challenging environment,
