Role Description
As the Employers Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring that offshore installation operations are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Acting as the liaison between the vessel crew, contractors, and onshore project management teams, you will oversee operational activities, monitor contractor performance, and uphold the project’s compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Represent the client in overseeing secondary steel installation operations, ensuring alignment with project goals, contractual requirements, and safety standards.
- Act as primary representative during the installation of the assets offshore from onboard the installation vessel.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between vessel crew, offshore contractors, and onshore project teams.
- Monitor and document contractor performance including adherence to RAMS, quality requirements, and agreed schedules.
- Attend and actively participate in project, safety, and toolbox meetings onboard or online.
Experience Required
- Significant experience as a Client/Employers Representative in offshore wind or marine construction projects
- Strong technical skills and significant proven experience in the construction, installation of offshore wind energy structures (preferably in the installation of foundations (incl. secondary steel structures)
- Support in engaging with supply chain
- Utilising digital and virtual platforms
- Experience with heavy lift vessels (preferably jack-up vessels) and related marine operations & procedures
Skills Required
- A good understanding of the relevant Transport & Installation concepts and processes
- Strong knowledge of offshore safety procedures, RAMS, and Emergency Response Plans
- Solid understanding of heavy-lift crane activities, and installation techniques
- The ability to respond to changing priorities and demands and adopt a flexible approach to working
- Knowledge on DPR systems & quality management systems
Required Qualifications
- Degree in civil / structural engineering, naval architecture, ocean engineering, or a closely aligned discipline.

- Current valid medical certificate
