Piping Workface Planner

Our client, a leading Industrial Construction company with services Canada wide, is currently recruiting for a Piping Workface Planner to join their team. This candidate will be responsible for supporting the Workface program in place.
In this very exciting role, the qualified individual will support the project by applying and instilling the principles of Workface Planning. Some duties include guiding the application of Workface Planning through the engineering and construction phase of the project, working in conjunction with their WFP Leads, and developing a Workface Planning Execution Strategy.

Job duties:
- Create FIWP’s to support the Path of Construction, CWPs Installation Sequence Plan and Schedule
- Work with engineering to align any mis-alignments in these areas
- Work with Document Control groups to implement processes that organize and store documents in a manner that supports Workface Planning
- Work with the Project Controls Team to align their data management and reporting structure with the application of Workface Planning
- Work with the Procurement team to implement a data management system that will procure, track, fabricate, receive and issue materials in a method that supports the application of WFP
- Support the development of the level 3 project schedule with all of the Project Stakeholders

Qualifications:
- Journeyman or other technical certification
- Previous large scale Industrial Construction Site experience
- Workface Planning experience from previous positions
- Basic interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
