Process Engineer Automotive Wire Harnesses

A fantastic career opportunity exist for a Process Engineer – Automotive Wire Harnesses to join a drawing office team of specialists in draughting, drawing and designing of Harnesses for the Automotive Space.




Key attributes:
• To design and develop reliable interconnection electrical designs
• Maintain wire harness detail designs for mechanical design for manufacturing
• To guide project design and verifies systems functional integrity
• Develop cabling and harness designs and investigating design factors
• Create and maintain 2D Drawings

Education and experience
• BTech OR Higher National Diploma / Mechatronics/ Industrial Engineering
• Min of 5 – 8 years experience in automotive and vehicle harness development
• CAD Modelling – Creo, 2D, VerSys or Arcadia
• Schematic and Cable Design E3 Series
• Manufacturing of non-conformances is required
• Experience in complex electrical diagrams wiring

Competency skills

• Harness design and draughting
• Harness debugging
