Job Description

Description of activities and key responsibilities of the function
• Develop New Tobacco Blends as per the Management directions.
• Maintain and assure the quality and consistency of our existing brands/products.
• Study, Analysis and prepare continues improvement plans for our existing Brands.
• Provide clear information and recommendations to top management for driving superior quality.
• Maintains quality standards by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies.
• Maintain/Implement approved Quality Assurance standards for Production.
• Ensure EHS (Governmental & Internal) standards are maintained.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions as the requirements.
• Ensure retention samples are monitored for shelf life, in coordination with the QA Dept. Test and offer monthly reports to Management.
• Evaluate and advise on the performance of the quality management system and products against set standards and specifications.
• Drive continual improvement by providing tools and techniques to enable others to achieve the product quality targets.
• Provide support to the Quality community and the entire organization in promoting the quality culture.
• Responsible for developing the Supplier Quality Assurance framework at global level to ensure a good basis for the materials quality standards.
• Leverage the knowledge/technologies/capabilities from internal/external networks aligned with the Quality Strategy to extend the quality capabilities of our supply chain.
