Hours 6:00AM - 2:30PM / afternoon and evening availability during large projects.
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Production supervisor with mechanical, production, and managerial skills. The successful candidate will be responsible maintaining and troubleshooting bottle filling and packaging equipment including date coders, blending tanks, etc. They will also be in charge of production personnel and directing the team in an efficient manner. The ideal candidate must have a great attitude, be reliable, and be able to lead and train other individuals. They must be willing to be "hands on" during the production process while utilizing their skills and experience to improve production and their surrounding team members.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all production equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure production goals and efficiencies are being met.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.
• Monitor and adjust production line speed to ensure efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and resolve them proactively.
• Communicate with production team and management regarding equipment issues and maintenance status.
• Train and lead other team members on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations and standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in running and troubleshooting bottle filling and packaging equipment including date coders, fillers, blending tanks, pumps, etc.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand on their feet for 12 hours daily.
• Ability to lead and train other individuals on how to operate equipment efficiently.
