Key essentials for the role below:
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Convert estimates into control budget, actual cost, and cost forecasts.
- Develop budget reforecasts and monitoring progress of work per control account to assure adherence to budget.
- Evaluating and finalizing the Variation / Change Order to obtain the proposed cost within the budget.
- Assist in preparing claims.
- Ensure reconciliation on a weekly and monthly basis between project cost reports and accounting department.
- Control the stores by ensuring accuracy of inventory and stock control and the pricing of good received.
- Check claims from vendors and subcontractors to ensure that projects expenditures are properly recorded.
- Advise the project controls manager of any decision having an impact on cost.
- Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing, and delivery up to the closure of the project.
