We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer for this client, The ideal candidate will be a specialist in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) in the oil and gas industry and will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
Here are some key responsibilities and duties typically associated with this role:
Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control Inspections:
- Conduct inspections and tests on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Assess the quality of wiring, cabling, control systems, and other E&I components.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings and quality-related issues.

Compliance with Industry Standards:
- Ensure that all E&I activities and products adhere to stringent industry standards and regulations.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance.

Risk Assessment:
- Identify potential risks associated with E&I materials, equipment, and processes.
- Propose measures to mitigate identified risks, contributing to overall safety.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):
- Utilize NDT techniques, such as ultrasonic testing and radiographic testing, to detect defects in materials without causing damage.

Supplier Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure that materials and components meet specified quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and quality assessments.

Root Cause Analysis:
- Investigate quality issues or defects and determine their root causes.
- Recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Training and Awareness:
- Conduct training sessions to ensure that all personnel are aware of quality standards and safety procedures.
- Promote quality awareness throughout the team.

Continuous Supervision:
- Supervise all activities performed on-site, including interventions, maintenance, installation, testing, and certification.
- Ensure that all quality-related activities are documented and implemented correctly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Several years of experience in QA/QC roles within the oil and gas industry.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in quality management, such as ISO 9001, and NDT certifications.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using testing and inspection tools.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
