DESCRIPTION:
Estamos en búsqueda de Ingenieros Industriales o carrera Afín, para participar en proyectos de la Industria, Automotriz y Aeroespacial, como Ingeniero de Calidad en sus diferentes especialidades, para importante firma Global desarrollando que desarrolla soluciones de Ingeniería, servicios técnicos y de consultoría a clientes en el sector Automotriz, Industrial y Espacial.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This Technician will test and inspect electrical automotive parts at various stages of the production process, and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of the products. They will also provide data to the Production, Engineering, Materials, and Planning Departments to improve product quality.
• Inspect products using such tools as micrometers, calipers, roundness testers, hardness testers, flux meters, push/pull gauge, coordinate measuring machine, surface tester, and thread gauge, among others, to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
• Cooperate with the Materials Department to inspect incoming domestic parts and raw materials to ensure roper quality from suppliers.
• Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
• Interpret technical drawings, material, and/or formulas to calculate specified quality and reliability standards.
• Perform product tests at specified stages in the production process, and test for such factors as dimensional, performance, and mechanical and/or electrical characteristics.
• Set up and perform destructive and non-destructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics. Record and analyze test data using statistical process control procedures and prepare data in various forms. Qualifications
PROFILE REQUIREDO:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Prior quality experience a plus).
• Good verbal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Some knowledge of statistics and statistical process control or solid math skills
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documents
