JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cost Estimation:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs remain within allocated limits.
- Tender Preparation:
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement schedules.
- Cost Control:
- Implement cost control measures to prevent budget overruns.
- Valuation and Payment:
- Conduct valuations of work in progress and prepare interim payment certificates.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects.
- Contract Administration:
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Quantity Surveying.
- Understanding of environmental and safety regulations.
- Cost estimation for remote and high-risk operations.
- Familiarity with drilling logistics and equipment procurement.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
