Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Lead Engineer Piping to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for S3D Project Set up by referring client specific standards / execution procedures. The candidate Should have thorough experience with S3D Setup activities which includes database restoration/Permission Groups and setting up of system hierarchy. The candidate should have S3D Specification and Catalog Creation for Piping, Structural & E & I Tray, Pipe Supports assemblies & E & I Cable Tray supports assemblies as per relevant PMS, VMS and Support standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Customization, Symbol Creation to the required exact geometry (eg. Control valves) & Custom commands to reduce Designers effort as much as possible.
- Piping Isometric Customization including creation of new symbols & labels.
- View Style Creation for different type of GA Drawings for all disciplines.
- Reports Customization for MTO, Weight, & COG for all discipline model items individually and consolidated.
- Should have good understanding of S3D Interfaces, class relationships, codeless interferences, Auto naming rules incorporation etc.,
- Should have hands on experience in creating filters, surface style rules and creation of review files (for SPR and Navisworks review files generation)
- Should have capability of handling SQL and Oracle Servers and Databases.
- Interact with Designers as the proactive responsibilities to provide complete know how of the application, to meet their customization demands, TO DO lists errors resolutions, troubleshooting of any application issues etc.,
- Should be well versed with modelling procedures and development of best practices for modelling.
Skills and qualification
- An Engineering Degree (or equivalent: specialized training, certification, or appropriate work experience).
- Experience supporting Smart 3D for 10 years.
- Experience with a Smart Enterprise integrated tool environment.
- Experience working in a Citrix environment.
- An ability to independently assess and prioritize competing urgent issues, whilst identifying areas for improvement in design processes and assist in creating and implementing said solutions.
- General understanding of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and processes.
- Ability to effectively work independently and jointly across global, regional cross-organizational team environments and participate in virtual projects, work requests or activities, particularly with design or engineering functions in the process industry for the enhancement of applications.
- A desire for exposure to new technology opportunities.
- Good troubleshooting and incident management respective to multiple applications.
- Client Support experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a global team environment.
