I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing existing customer commercial relationships.
• Profitably growing customer base and developing new customers.
• Create business case for new customers
• Overseeing the preparation of customer quotations & related business plans.
• Negotiation with customers.
• Develops and recommends customer pricing.
• Establishes and maintains sales forecast.
• Completes analysis of monthly sales reports.
• Monitors and reports market trends.
• Maintains customer profiles and activity files.
• Conducts sales calls to customers in person, via phone, or web-meeting.
• Provide customers with technical assistance as required.
• Provide customers with service parts information as needed.
• Review pricing annually.
• Prepares presentations and attends industry trade shows.
• Provide customers with samples as necessary.
• Filing claims with customers for special charges (ie obsolescence, air freight, overtime costs, ect).
• Complete Sales Data Procedures for new orders.
• Maintain QMS documents and procedures compliance for Sales department.
• Additional tasks as assigned by management.
II. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages and coordinates sales personnel including performance reviews.
III. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to perform transactions in SAP
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
• Strong leadership skills.
IV. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing & assembly processes. The individual will be responsible for leading production team, overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long term strategic plans. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.
Minimum Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business and/or equivalent employment experience
• 5+ years of experience in automotive account management
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
V. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.
• Ability to write work instructions and other procedures as needed.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
VI. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.
• Understand the calculations as part of the quotation process.
VII. REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to solve problems as they arise.
• Ability to perform analytics of sales information
• Ability to interpret customer part drawings.
• Ability to understand customer quotation requests and engineering change requests.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Traveling from plant to plant (Supplier, Customer), including international travel may be required.
• 20-50% travel to customer locations & trade shows around US and Canada.
