Senior Business Development Manager

TRS Middle East is working with a leading Group in Saudi Arabia and are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team in Jeddah,

Role Purpose (Summary of the Key Responsibilities)

• The primary purpose of this role is to support and lead a variety of strategic efforts inclusive of playing a pivotal role in building annual / long-term strategic plans through a challenging task of identifying strategic business opportunities for our existing Business Unit in order to generate and increase revenues and will be spearheading the strategic vision across all fronts of businesses.
• Responsible for the development and oversight of the business’s corporate strategies in order to support growth objectives while strengthening the business core to develop and maintain a competitive advantage by playing a key role in strategy formulation, collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders in accordance with KSA vision 2030.
• Responsible for identifying the new business opportunities, profit improvement opportunities and support the current businesses to diversify.
• This role demands extensive hands-on experience in managing business development projects from start to end as turn-key.
• This role demands a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature with exceptional networking skills.

Key Activities:

• Developing and executing Business Unit strategies, work on their business plan and generate business growth organically.
• Deep knowledge of Vision 2030 and National Transformation Programs and build the BUs strategies based on it and seek the new opportunities with government and private sectors. Align the strategy with the Vision 2030, National Transformation Program (NTP) and Group strategy.
• Understanding the market and monitoring the market for information and creative trends (networking with major players, attending industry functions and events, and monitoring industry publications and research) to keep abreast with the local and global competition.
• Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending investments for organic growth.

Key Essentials:
• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or Similar qualification from renowned university; MBA is an advantage
• Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst is a plus.
• At least 15 years of overall experience with 8+ years in a senior managerial or leadership role;
• Multi-Year work experience in Saudi Arabia in Strategy implementation, Joint venture projects execution and Business Development.
