Senior Mechanical Engineer (Long-term Contract) - This is a functional role. The project is currently at feasibility study going into detailed design phase. It will take about a year or so for this person to go to site when this project goes into execution.

Details and Qualifications:

•    Engineering degree in a related field.
•    P.Eng designation is a must.
•    At least 10 years of experience in full-cycle design engineering and project execution.
•    Ideally with mechanical engineering and/or materials handling engineering design and field background.
•    Accountable to keeping tabs and manage the scope of work, schedule, budget, cost, identifying risks, value engineering and regulatory practices, safety, and data management. 
•    Project experiences: mining and metals, processing plants, mills, flotation, process equipment, material handling, pressures, pumps, etc.
•    Flexible to travel to site during project execution.
•    Someone who comes with a dynamic personality, strong team spirit, can integrate with the project team, delegate and manage the EPC consultants who are doing the designs.
•    Good critical and conceptual thinking skills.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
