Senior Network Administrator

Role: Sr Network Specialist

A Network Administrator with Microsoft Exchange and CCNA certification, the role would suit a Network Administrator who is seeking an exciting new challenge with zeal to learn and implement new technologies in IT Infrastructure.

Job Description:

Operation

1. Strong understanding and experience with MS Windows 2016 in a medium/larger Enterprise environment
2. Linux experience will be a plus.
3. Manage virtual and physical servers with Windows Server 2016
4. Server patching with SCCM 2016 along with vulnerability management
5. Manage the physical and virtual environment (VMware/Hyper-V)
6. Must have a thorough knowledge of the Windows 2016 Active Directory and its concepts

Exchange Server

1. Strong understanding and experience with MS Exchange 2016 in a medium/larger
Enterprise environment
2. Experience in implementation/migration of exchange servers and architecture of Exchange
services environment with Disaster recovery with fail over.
3. Experience in Maintenance of Exchange servers such as Daily Monitoring of Databases, Logs
replication status, backup issues, Disk Size, CPU & Memory utilization and Offline Maintenance
tasks.

Network Administration

1. Experience in managing and troubleshooting Cisco devices (Switches, Routers, Concentrators, Load balancers).
2. In-depth knowledge in designing, configuration and troubleshooting of VOIP (Cisco Business Edition 6000).
3. Extensive knowledge of 6500, 4500, 3500, 2900 series Cisco switches
4. Hands on experience in managing Servers (Windows/ Unix/Linux), Backup Management,
Disaster Recovery, File servers, Antivirus management.

Security

1. Advance level Experience in configuring, trouble shooting and managing Firewall (Sopho’s XG 330 etc.), Sophos Central Endpoint Intercept X, McAfee End Point Protection etc.
2. In-depth knowledge of IPS, policy definition and monitoring for incoming and outgoing
traffic.
3. Experience in VPN configuration (Site to Site and Policy based VPN), Web security gateways and spam firewalls

Technical Certification:

 MCSA in Exchange 2016 (mandatory)
 MCSA in Windows 2016 (preferred)
 CCNA/CCNP (mandatory)
 VMware Professional (preferred)
Academic Qualification: Graduate

Work Experience:

Over All IT experience: 8+ yrs in a Multinational company
Network Admin experience: 6+ yrs
Exchange server experience: 4+ yrs
Sopho’s Firewall: 4 yrs
