Senior Project Manager

Our client is a service provider for utilities in power and energy sectors and currently seeking to fill a Senior Project Manager position. This role is going to be assigned in Toronto.

This company has been seeing a lot of growth potential from an infrastructure division (East & West) to being organized into 5 new divisions: Infrastructure, Tunneling, Micro-tunneling, Open cut and Power.

The successful individual is anticipated to eventually progress into a Director role.

Requirements:
-Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management background.
-Someone who has worked for construction companies in the utility side is a must.
-10+ years of experience working in project and construction management.
-Commercial exposure in running a project team of about 10 Project Managers and client management.
-Responsibilities include: Contract negotiations, change orders, change management, bids and tenders, project execution, and client negotiations.
-People management and leadership is huge for this role as having a vision and open to mentor junior and intermediate levels in their team.
