Responsibilities Include:
• Collaborate with warehouse associates and plant leadership to ensure smooth and accurate shipment to the end customer
• Ensure the shipment sequencing process is maintained in a productive and proactive manner per customer needs, while working in conjunction with other departments
• Prioritize shipments based on customer’s needs and agreed upon deadlines and sequence
• Achieve customer satisfaction with an error/defect free service
• Adhere to customer requirements related to all warehouse and documentation processes
• Coordinate warehouse team members and activities
• Communicate frequently with the team to ensure they are effectively executing their responsibilities
• Be present on the floor to give guidance and feedback to the logistics/warehouse team
• Proactively communicate and escalate any defects and other situations in the warehouse that could potentially have minor or major impacts
• Promote a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement amongst team members to strive to better-serve our customer
• Collaborate to maintain inventory accuracy at the highest levels
• Maintain strong 5S results for cleanliness and organization in all work areas
• Notify the Manager or Supervisor of any abnormalities or inconsistencies in the operation
• Other related duties as required by senior leadership
Requirements Include:
• High School Diploma required (Associates or Bachelors Preferred)
• 2+ Years of logistics sequencing experience within a tier-1 automotive manufacturer
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Basic knowledge in management systems like TS 16949 and ISO 9001
