Site QA/QC Manager


Our client is a global leader in the energy and metallurgy industries, is looking for an experienced Site QA/QC Manager to support the execution of a major industrial project.

 

Role Summary:

The Site QA/QC Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the project quality system on site, ensuring that all civil, mechanical and electrical works are executed in full compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full understanding and implementation of the project’s Quality Standards at site level
  • Monitor and support Quality Control activities related to Civil, Mechanical and Electrical works
  • Review project specifications and verify compliance with defined quality requirements
  • Implement the Project Quality Plan on site using applicable specifications, erection procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Report directly to the Site Manager
  • Verify that inspection activities are carried out by subcontractors in accordance with ITPs and the Project Quality Plan
  • Ensure inspections are performed by qualified personnel using calibrated equipment
  • Perform inspections as required in line with ITPs and client requirements
  • Manage and review inspection and test reports issued by subcontractors
  • Inspect materials and equipment upon receipt and monitor handling, storage and preservation in accordance with manufacturer recommendations
  • Participate in and coordinate third‑party inspections
  • Identify non‑conformities, inform site management, and monitor corrective actions until closure
  • Participate in final walk‑downs and manage punch lists
  • Liaise with site management and construction teams to ensure subcontractor compliance with contractual requirements
  • Deliver quality‑related training to site personnel
  • Support the QA/QC team in preparation of ITPs and QA/QC documentation
  • Prepare and issue final project quality documentation
  • Issue daily, weekly and monthly quality reports
  • Participate in internal, subcontractor and client site quality meetings
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Promote a strong quality and HSE culture across the project team

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of solid experience in QA/QC for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical works on major industrial projects
  • University degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards and regulations
  • Proven experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Team‑oriented and proactive mindset
