We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable operations and minimal equipment downtime. The role focuses on producing high‑quality work orders and detailed work packs in line with Work Management standards. This role is based in Cape Town. Seize your chance and apply today!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Develop detailed job plans and work packs (labor, materials, tools, safety requirements).
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate CMMS records and analyze maintenance data.
- Support safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct job walk‑downs and participate in planning and review meetings.
Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles and CMMS systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advantageous: hands‑on technical background, high‑hazard environment experience, SAP PM/Maximo/Primavera exposure.
