Warehouse Logistics Analyst

TRS Staffing is searching for a Warehouse Logistics Analyst in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities
• Need support – working with odyssey
• 100 shipments per day – all go through odyssey. Many need intervention and troubleshooting.
• Interacting with carriers and warehouses; dealing with ERP, running reports and analyzing the data.
• Schedule: day shift; emergencies only may need to work evenings or nights. This is very rare
• Monitor allocation process, stock match, OBD creation, and door to door delivery.
• Provide pricing, availability, and schedule information within established guidelines.
• Track order activity and alert appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems and expedite the delivery of selected orders.
Experience
• SAP experience – working knowledge and capacity to understand the ERP
• Excel – manipulate data, know the system
• Warehouse and domestic experience
• Ocean/import – preferred not needed
• Need experience with road carriers, LTL (less truck load), how to deal with scheduling
• Pull report, excel, pivot table, vlookup – need to understand these concepts and working with data
• Years of experience – need at least 2 years of experience 2-5 years
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to set priorities and manage time in a dynamic work environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
