TRS Staffing Solutions attend the Middle East Rail Conference and Exhibition
For the Rail and Infrastructure community, one of the main highlights of 2015 so far has been attending the Middle East Rail Conference and Exhibition held on the 17th & 18th March at the Dubai Convention and Exhibition Centre.
It’s the largest Rail Expo across the Middle East and North Africa and is held annually in partnership with the UAE government. This year’s exhibition attracted over 6000 attendees, 220 exhibitors and 600 delegates!
The expo drew key government representatives, rail operators, transport authorities and world-class solution providers from around the world.
The TRS stand featured specialist rail experts, Nabeel Ashraf and Chirag Shah who networked with over 250 clients and candidates throughout the event. Chirag travelled over from our UK branch to join us on both days. The TRS team pictured above are Catherine Manansala, Tahera Adamjee, Chirag Shah, Nabeel Ashraf and regional manager, Ray Verweij.
Nabeel and Chirag attended a number of inspiring speeches and particularly enjoyed hearing about the latest developments and progress update at Etihad Rail, from John Thomas, Regulatory Affairs Advisor. The roundtable discussions on Oman Rail and the panel debate on “Lessons from the Front Line – the new Railway Challenge” were extremely interesting as was listening to Duncan Cross from London Overground and Cross Rail along with other panel members as they discussed lessons they have learnt in building railways.
TRS were proud to be an exhibitor at the exhibition and look forward to attending many more in the future. The Rail Expo was a fantastic two days and we extend our thanks and congratulations to Terrapinn for organising a successful, first class conference.
If you are a rail professional looking for advice or a client looking for an experienced rail specialist staffing partner, TRS would love to hear from you and discuss our range of flexible and innovative solutions. TRS has a long track record of delivering tailored staffing solutions specifically to the Middle East Rail sector; many of which have helped organisations address their staffing challenges and achieve meaningful cost savings.
