Tax Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Executive with solid experience in tax advisory—either in-house or within a tax advisory/consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in preparing and reviewing VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT) returns, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

The role is based in Dubai, UAE. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive tax advice and support to different departments of the company and groups of companies on various tax matters, including corporate tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including timely andaccurate filing of tax returns and other required documentation.
• Liaise with external advisors and managing tax audits.
• Review tax provisions and estimations in accordance with relevant tax regulations.
• Prepare the monthly tax reporting.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree / Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Law, Finance or related field. A professional qualification (e.g., CPA in Taxation) would be a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax advisory in a company or tax advisory firm, particularly in handling VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT) returns.
• Proven expertise in tax matters within Saudi Arabia (compulsory) and the United Arab Emirates, with practical knowledge of local compliance requirements.
• Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken (compulsory), at a professional level.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and discretion, in a fast-paced international environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
