Roles and Responsibilities for all engineers:
• Responsible for Cleanroom and Advanced Laboratory (e.g. Imaging, Additive Manufacturing, Photovoltaic) Design from Programming through Construction Administration
• Engineering calculations to ensure project requirements (e.g. clean class, temperature, quality, capacity) are met.
• Develop construction specifications and designs for facility equipment and
• Process systems examples: clean dry air, process vacuum, RODI water, Process Cooling Water, Acid Waste Neutralization, Exhaust systems.
• HVAC system: Chilled Water, Heating Hot water, Steam, Supply/Exhaust Air
• Distribution/Panel Boards, transformers, 480/277V, 208/120V, connecting to substations to support new/existing facilities, UPS, Generators
• Building Automation Systems Controls and Instrumentation designs in conjunction with other disciplines.
• Prepare or modify drawings/BIM models in conjunction with CAD/REVIT team at all stages of design
• Develop facility room layout concepts to support client process and workflow needs and safety.
• Research, create and update relevant product and system specifications, to meet technical needs of the client.
• Monitor and coordinate interdisciplinary work for compliance to applicable codes, industry standards, best engineering practices and standards.
• Construction Administration including RFI and Submittal responses, site visits and punch list, coordination with inspectors
• Travel may be required, typically up to 25%, including international and domestic travel.
Position Requirements:
• Knowledge of and 5+ years’ experience with engineering design in your respective engineering discipline
• Cleanroom or Laboratory design experience is a plus
• Writing Skills required: English language specification writing, reports, and memoranda.
• US Citizenship or permanent residency required.
• Tool install design experience is a plus.
• Open to new challenges that new engineering and technical projects will require. Flexible and can work on multiple engineering projects at the same time.
• Action and results oriented. Succinct and data driven verbal and written communication is a must.
Education & Certification
• Bachelor of Science degree in your respective Engineering Discipline is required
• Active Professional Engineer License in your respective Engineering Discipline is required
Computer Skills:
• Computer Skills required: Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Bluebeam. Must be proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Pipe-Flo or equivalent software is a plus for mechanical or chemical.
• Experience with SKM, ETAP or equivalent software is a must for electrical.
