Established Custom Sheet Metal / Fab shop is growing and expanding into double their current space!

Experience working with AMADA RG 80 AND THE 3610 NT
POSITION SUMMARY
Run / bend parts on brake press to meet blueprint specifications, keeping up with production schedules and meeting quality requirements.
Set-up procedures on simple to moderately complex part runs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Bend parts utilizing brake equipment, assuring quality and productivity,
2. Spot-check quality of work by periodically using measuring equipment and visual inspection.
3. May begin to learn set-up procedures on simple to moderately complex parts.
4. Keep up with traveler and paperwork flow by logging number of parts run to specification.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma, Equivalency (GED), or equivalent work experience required.
2. 2 or more years experience as brake press operator required; Amada R-G 80 and Amada FAB III 8025 experience preferred.

SKILLS
Familiarity with reading / interpreting blueprints.
Advanced knowledge of brake press operations.
Familiarity with the use dial calipers, square and various measuring equipment.
