Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent
Pay: $28/hr - $31/hr
Hours: 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)

Summary: The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations in a manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment, minimizing production downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document all findings and repairs.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Install, assemble, and test new equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and equipment history.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement efforts through root cause analysis and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance work area and tools.
- Participate in safety audits, training sessions, and compliance initiatives.
- Maintaining uptime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Diagnosing complex issues across diverse types of machinery.
- Balancing priorities between preventive maintenance and urgent repairs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing maintenance role.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology preferred.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, LOTO, and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance software and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Positive attitude and willingness to continuously learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
- May require working on-call or during off-hours for emergency repairs.
