Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire, salaried
Pay: $105-125k base plus annual bonus

Summary: The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead our North American Manufacturing Engineering Team. This position is based in Belleville, IL (20 miles east of St. Louis, MO).
Responsibilities:
- Mentoring, leading, and managing a team of 7 manufacturing engineers
- creating standard work
- implementing process improvements
- identifying cost savings
- performing capacity planning
- capital project management
- production line designs
- performing machine programming
- leading new product introductions and implementing product changes
Requirements:
- BSME or BSMfgE
- Minimum 10 years of progressive Manufacturing Engineering experience with cutting, forming, welding, painting and assembly of thin gauge sheet metal parts and assemblies
- 5+ years of experience leading an engineering team in product development and production environment
- Good working knowledge of Visual Management, 5S, SMED, KANBAN, Mix-model flow line, design for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly (DFA)
- Project management experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Excel / Word, PowerPoint are required
- A MBA or Engineering Management degree is preferred but not required
- Active passport or the ability to get and maintain one
**Must be authorized to work in the US regardless of visa transfer or sponsorship
**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check to be eligible for hire
