MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program in the United States. PE registration in the state of South Carolina or the ability to obtain the same. NCEES registration desirable, if not currently registered, then ability to obtain registration if hired. Ability to obtain additional state professional registrations as required.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a registered PE in mechanical engineering of industrial projects with a variety of mechanical systems including the design of HVAC systems, chilled/hot water, and DX systems, cooling/and heating load calculations, equipment selection, controls, life cycle costing, specification writing, studies, cost estimating, shop drawing review, site observations and basic knowledge of AutoCAD. Construction experience is desirable.
Experience with development of fire protection specification sheets, design of plumbing, process piping, and compressor piping also desired.
Experience with computer aided design and drafting programs including but not necessarily limited to AutoCAD and Revit.
