Will work constructing Trade Show exhibits from start to finish. This position is responsible for cutting and milling of components required for assembly. Must be able to adhere to standards, do a quality job in a safe manner within an acceptable timeframe.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform metal fabrication with heavy aluminum and steel to fabricate individual pieces.
• Welding aluminum
• Clean, grind, cut, smooth both metal and wood sections as prep for finishing.
• Light assembly
• Prepare for shipping to tradeshows nationwide.
• Able to do entire project on a short timetable and without any supervision.
• Lifting, moving, and holding or clamping work pieces to table, into jigs, or into position as directed
• Maintaining a healthy and clean work environment for themselves and others.
• Follow company production procedures and policies.
• Ability to operate upcut saw.
• Ability to follow a cut list from a CAD drawing.
• Will be expected to operate various machinery such as drill presses and punch machines.
• Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience reading simple to complex blueprints and instructions to complete assigned tasks.
• Experience completing operations at heights up to 25 ft., climbing and completing work on ladders, and lifting material.
• Ability to work accurately and quickly under company deadlines.
• Cooperative, courteous, flexible and good natured.
• Conscientious, persistent, resourceful, productive and active.
• Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships and deal with employees in an efficient and professional manner.
• Trade show experience a plus
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and commitment to meeting and exceeding deadlines and goals.
• Valid driver’s license.
Schedule:
M - F (7am - 4pm) some OT
Pay:
$ 17 - 23
