Operations Production Supervisor

Our expanding client is looking for an Operations Production Supervisor to join their team in North Kingston, RI.

The Operations Production Supervisor must have a broad knowledge of assembly and erection of assemblies and assembly blocks for steel hull vessels. Must be computer literate. He/she must comply with all safety procedures and guidelines and comply with all company issued policies, procedures rules and regulations. He/she must also have excellent work ethics including excellent attendance, punctuality and the desire to complete designated work in a timely fashion.

This is a second shift position.

Qualifications
•Must have at least 10 years’ experience in sub-assemblies, assemblies, and assembly blocks
•Must possess good organizational skills and ability to accomplish the required assignments within designated timeframes.
•Must have ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, craft and departments.
•Must have a willingness to learn new techniques.
•Must be detail oriented and have excellent follow-up skills.
•Must be a self-starter with the ability to perform the job duties with little or no supervision.
•Must be able to meet the work schedule.
•Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
•Must be physically able to work in all areas of the shipyard.
