Project Executive/Director

Overview:
The Project Executive/Director is responsible for the overall success of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety standards. They provide strategic leadership, oversee project managers and teams, and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from planning and execution to completion and handover.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee project teams, including project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and identify and address any potential issues or delays.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and government agencies.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Manage project finances, including monitoring costs and preparing financial reports.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for project improvement and efficiency.
  • Report project status to senior management on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction project management, with experience at the executive/director level preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully completing complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in construction project management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
