Talent Acquisition – Talent Acquisition Project Lead

Our client, one of the world’s largest EPC’s, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Project Lead  to join their team in Southwest Houston. This is a long-term contract role with the opportunity to become permanent. Operating under detailed instructions and review, the purpose of this position is to provide the essential technical knowledge and perform the work listed.

Summary:
As a Recruiting Team Lead, you will play a key role in leading and managing our talented team of recruiters to attract and hire top-tier talent for our organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the recruitment process, developing innovative sourcing strategies in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing function, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

 The ideal candidate is an experienced and results-driven individual with a passion for talent acquisition and a track record of achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and manage the recruiting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success in meeting hiring goals and KPIs.
  Recruitment Strategy: 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates across various positions and levels.
 Sourcing and Talent Acquisition: 
  • Implement proactive sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, networking, and leveraging social media platforms to identify top talent and build talent pipelines.
  • Ensure team is efficiently leveraging LinkedIn seat and adhering to utilization expectations.

 Selection Process:
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate screening, interviewing, assessment, and offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Collaboration with Onboarding team and leadership to ensure effective process and present positive candidate experience throughout process.
KPI Monitoring:
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the recruiting team, such as candidate step/status, hiring manager step/status, time-to-fill, and diversity hiring, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.



Stakeholder Management: 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs, provide regular updates on recruitment progress, and build strong relationships to ensure alignment on recruitment objectives.

 Employer Branding:
  • Bring forward ideas and identify opportunities to enhance and  promote client as an employer of choice and enhance our employer brand in the market.

 Data-driven Approach:
  • Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the recruitment process and hold recruiter accountable to meeting established performance expectations.

Business Acumen:
  • Promote and develop team business acumen to align and support the business.
Collaboration:
  • Partner with TA leadership, peers, and HR to collaborate on delivering consistency
Team Performance:
  • Ensure the recruiting team consistently meets or exceeds hiring targets and KPIs, fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process, implementing strategies to attract candidates from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented groups.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Continuously assess and improve recruitment processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.

Candidate Experience:
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring candidates feel valued and well-informed.
Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a successful recruiter.
  • Team Lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve KPIs and targets.
