Job Details
Our client is a startup company located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will be designing and manufacturing a range of marine engines from 2-stroke to 4-stroke engines for small-mid-large size ships.

Brief Description
2-stroke production engineer is involved in the production of the engine which includes managing the production schedule, supporting quality management, managing production technology, and communicating with customers or other parties.

The major responsibilities are:
• Evaluate the manpower and lead time for engine production to optimize the process.
• Develop and amend documents such as manuals, instructions, and guidelines including educating materials.
• Improve the production process to reduce lead time or to improve working conditions.
• Manage production tools and jigs to design drawings, to support procure.
• Lead and coordinate engine official tests and cooperate with the Quality department.
• Perform trouble shootings with technicians and report them to the manager.
• Report the NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and support to evaluate root cause analysis.
• Register and manage production documents (check sheet, performance result)
• Manage safety issues in the workplace.


Qualifications
You must be able to demonstrate and evidence the following:
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Work Experience: ideally 7+ years’ experience in 2-stroke engine production (In the same industry)
• Language: Excellent written and spoken English
