Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Modderfontein
Salary: R30 000 – R35 000 pm
Contract/ Perm: 12 month contract

Mission Statement:
• To collect outstanding money owing to the comapny.
• To liaise between customer and business and resolve any queries to collect the money owing.
• Process accounting transactions for Accounts Receivable (AR) in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance

Typical Reporting Line: Shared Accounting Services Manager (or) Accounting Center Manager - AR (or) Accounting Center Team Lead - AR

Main Accountabilities:
• Collection of outstanding debt from customers
• Providing customers with required documentation to support the receipt process
• Customer dispute resolution
• Provide documents as requested by customers (invoice, credit note, statement)

• Resolution of outstanding issues on customer reconciliations

• Reduction in overdue accounts

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Minimum Grade 12 qualification
• 2 – 5 years financial accounting experience specifically in accounts receivables
• Strong reconciliation and MS excel skills
• SAP experience
• Deadline driven and ability to work with teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self management capability
• Proficient in business English
• Customer service orientation
• Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills
• Good organization and coordination skills
• Process orientation and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• Exposure to Accounting tools a strong plus
