Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain document control processes, including version control and proper documentation storage
- Collaborate with Mine Operations and technical teams to gather input and validate documentation
- Ensure all SOPs meet internal standards and health & safety requirements
- Provide administrative and documentation support to the Mine Operations and Technical Training teams
- Review and update existing SOPs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current practices
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps or inconsistencies in procedures
- Develop, draft, and format new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for mining equipment and operational processes
- Preform additional duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in mining, oil & gas, or industrial operations environments
- Background in document control, administrative support, HSE, or operations support
- Experience creating, editing, or managing SOPs or technical documentation
- Understanding of document management systems and version control
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with mining processes or heavy equipment operations is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint or similar systems)
- High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
