Basic Function
The Advanced Analytics SME will work with Operations Analytics team, Renewable Operations Center (ROC), Performance Engineering, Data Science resources and programming resources, internal and external, to develop and implement various analytical tools and software applications to support the on-going needs, and the digital transformation of, reporting, commercial transactions, utility-scale solar performance monitoring, systems issue detecting and diagnosing, automation of daily/weekly/monthly tasks, advanced equipment failure predictive and O&M operations decision support systems to maximize the alignment of the solar assets operations with business bottom line.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead as the technical principal in projects (or tasks) of developing analytics for various functions of asset operations including ROC, Asset Management, Technical Asset Management
• Support as technical and analytical SME in the development of Digital Platform apps initiated from O&M, such as inverter predictive, decision support system, advanced DC health
• Coordinate with internal and external resources and provide technical directions when needed, till project/task completion and results validation
Qualifications
• BS in technical field of study, advance degrees preferred
• A track record of solving complex analytical problems
• Demonstrated perseverance and inner drive, in front of analytical challenges
• In-depth knowledge on the principal of operations of utility scale solar systems, clear understanding of SCADA data and historian data
• Experience working with a CMMS is a plus
• Strong experience in solar performance and analytics
• Strong learning habit and capability
• Proficiency in Excel required, working knowledge of other analytics tools preferred
