AP Supervisor

Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor ICP to support their company’s financial focus. This role will be overseeing all the functions within the Intercompany process for Accounts Payables and support other finance team members within financial processes. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments to ensure continuous improvement of data quality and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ​
•Overall understanding of all accounting aspects: GL, AP, AR, FA
•Assistance and back up of month end activities and entries
•Assures that vendor invoices are properly coded; approved; entered daily; and paid in accordance with company policies and procedures
•Manages the 3-way matching process in SAP and ensures the GR/IR account is kept current
•Assistance with the management and evaluation of AP staff
•Outgoing cash forecasting
•Reconciliation of A/P within IC
•Filling and reconciliation of Sales and Use Taxation
•Oversight of the intercompany reconciliation process
•Maintenance of vendor master information

Qualifications:
•5+ years’ experience in general accounting
•3-Way matching process in SAP required
•Strong computer and MS Excel skills
•Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and/or bookkeeping procedures
•High math aptitude
•Good interpersonal and organizational skills (detail-oriented & able to work accurately with numbers)
•Results-oriented and able to tackle problems independently or with a proposed solution

Education:
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
