In this position you will be responsible to ensure effective management of Integrity issues on specific assets as technical focal point. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of IM systems in support of the Asset team requirements & management of the personnel involved, liaising closely with other members of Asset Team and Integrity Team Members.
Function
1- Integrity Engineering:
• Implements Integrity strategies, Corrosion Management strategies, Inspection and Fabric Maintenance programmes on assigned asset(s) during the day to day operational activities.
• Responsible for the content of the integrity management / corrosion monitoring database.
• Plans and coordinates the RBA life cycle process to optimize inspection frequencies, maintenance costs & plant availability.
• Organizes and participates in RBA sessions to determine the long terms inspection plans.
• Responsible for failure and risk analysis, remaining life & level 1 fitness for service assessment.
• Focal point for reviewing, assessing and reporting high risk anomalies in MCDR’s.
• Ensures mitigation and remedial actions are put in place for MCDR’s.
• Ensures that failure investigations are carried out, where required.
• Provides input and participates in the development of Integrity Management strategies, identifies improvements to work practices and actively contributes towards continuous improvements.
• Responsible for reporting of asset performance, condition and assurance activities in technical integrity area.
• Organizes and runs the monthly Integrity meeting for each asset.
• Provides input to annual budget preparation for each asset and justification for client.
• Provides support in proposing Asset integrity cost plan to Asset managers and control of spend.
2- Integrity Coordination:
• Supervises and supports OIE’s (Offshore Inspection Engineers) on each asset, acting as OIE focal point for offshore during leave periods.
• Oversees the management of the Mechanical/Corrosion Damage Reporting and Temporary Repair registers including monitoring of backlog and overdue MCDRs.
• Manages 3rd party IM support activities for assigned assets.
• Develops the relationship between Bluewater and 3rd party support to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Liaises with 3rd party inspection/corrosion contractors involved in IM activities and facilitates review meetings as required.
• Ensures that inspection activities offshore are resourced correctly and liaises with planning/logistics to ensure these are captured in the asset plans.
• Reviews offshore reporting and ensures that scope is being completed as per plan.
• Manages Integrity tasks within Maximo system.
• Creates and maintains regular KPI activity reports for senior management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in integrity/corrosion/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in Technical Integrity related discipline in UK sector, ideally within operator company
• Proven experience in working with Class Rules and other Regulatory Authorities.
• Ability to plan and monitor project activities.
• Valid survival certificate and offshore medical (plus any other industry standard pre-requisites to travel offshore).
• Flexibility to travel offshore and abroad
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Already eligible to live an work in The Netherlands.
