Building Science Engineer

Our client, a leading Engineering Consultancy with projects throughout Canada, is seeking a Building Science Engineer to join their team in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will have previous project management and technical engineering experience in the building science field.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be working on building science projects that are both new construction as well as existing infrastructure projects. Their day-to-day activities will include completing quality assurance reviews, proposals, contracts, scheduling and cost estimates, as well as engaging in client relationship management.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related education
- 7+ years of experience within a similar capacity
- Must have a strong understanding of national energy codes, building codes, CGSB standards, ASTM standards, etc.
- P.Eng designation is a must
- Outstanding communication skills– written and verbal
