Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of overall project schedules.
- Establish construction methodologies, sequencing plans, and milestone schedules.
- Review and approve baseline programmes, updated schedules, and recovery plans.
- Ensure integration of design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor project progress against approved baselines and contractual milestones.
- Identify critical path activities, schedule risks, and potential delays.
- Recommend corrective actions and acceleration measures to maintain project timelines.
- Lead schedule performance reviews and project progress assessments.
- Review resource deployment strategies for manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor productivity trends and recommend optimization measures.
- Assess resource requirements to support timely project delivery.
- Conduct schedule risk assessments and delay impact analyses.
- Review Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and contractor claims.
- Support dispute resolution through planning and scheduling expertise.
- Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and management updates.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, design teams, supervision consultants, and stakeholders.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide strategic planning recommendations.
- Ensure planning and scheduling activities comply with contract requirements, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Review project performance against contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualification and Educational Requirements:
- M. Tech in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Transportation Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Certification in Primavera P6, Project Management, or equivalent planning tools shall be preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in construction planning, scheduling, project controls, monitoring, and management of large infrastructure projects.
- At least 10 years of experience in Roads, Highways, Expressways, Bridges, or major transportation infrastructure projects.
- Experience in NHAI, MoRTH, EPC, HAM, BOT, PPP, or internationally funded highway projects will be preferred.
