Civil Coordinator

We at TRS Staffing are seeking Civil Coordinators for our client, a green energy construction company based out of multiple sites in Alberta and Saskatchewan. 

Working directly under the Project Manager, the Civil Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all works related to the activity on-site, and will provide expert direction on road construction, leveling work and any other site related civil work. The roles would be on rotation and require high mobility and flexibility from the candidates.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Project Manager in preparing contracts for subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
• Assist in the coordination of civil engineering activities with the Site Superintendent
• Coordinate with on-site teams and Civil Subcontracts for all civil technical requirements and maintenance
• Prepare monitoring reports and monitor the progress of civil works
• Develop and follow through quality control program for all civil works
• Work alongside Civil Superintendent, Environmental Engineer, subcontractors, municipal and regional representatives, and the client representatives
• Support and actively participate in the Site Health and Safety Advisory on site

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant background
• 3-8 years of experience in similar positions
• High geographical mobility and ability to work flexible schedules on site
• Proficient in MS Office and other IT tools
• Must be a team player and have excellent conflict resolution skills
